A Gentle Walk
Directed by Brandon Katcher

While filming a wedding one day, a filmmaker, fresh out of college, meets a Zen monk, who encourages him to drop everything and travel to South Asia. Reluctantly, the filmmaker agrees, and begins an unexpected journey—through India to the River Ganges to the Himalayas to Mount Everest—that is both deeply personal and, in many ways, universal.

Moderator: Michael Jacobs
Michael Jacobs' feature documentary “Audience of One” won awards at South by Southwest, Silverdocs and DocFest, and was included in the 2007 New Directors/New Films series at Lincoln Center.
